Daniel Mooney
Dan Mooney is a novelist, screenwriter, occasional broadcaster and remains in theatre in Limerick with both the College Players and the Torch Players. His first novel, Me Myself and Them was the winner of the Luke Bitmead Bursary Award and has been published in Ireland, the UK and the US. His second novel The Great Unexpected (August 2018) has also been optioned for the US market. His short film The Apparel written under the mentorship of Gerry Stembridge was screened at several festivals and on RTE television.
The former radio broadcaster and air traffic controller spent six years in Expressive Arts from 1996 until 2002 where he discovered his love of theatre, both performing on stage and collaborating with the wider theatre community. He has kept that love of all things theatrical with Torch and College where he has performed in Death of a Salesman, Bookworms, The Constant Wife, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and Noises Off to name a few
A past pupil of Expressive Arts from the very early days, Helena has been working in the arts for over twenty years. She has worked as an actress and producer in both theatre and film, and also as a teacher and facilitator on many outreach, community, school and university theatre projects in both Ireland and the UK. She is also an award winning playwright and director whose plays include Less Than a Year (2006), Walking Away (2007), Under Pressure (2008), Aquéro (2010), The Exeter Blitz Project (2012) and The River (2014). In 2011 she completed a PhD in Performance Practice at the University of Exeter on the staging of personal testimony. She is Artistic Director of The River Shannon Project which was established in 2012 as part of the inaugural Elemental Arts and Culture Festival in Limerick. The project uses the arts to share people's memories and associations with the River Shannon and its connections to the people of Limerick. Helena is currently a lecturer in Drama at Bath Spa University.
Dr. Helena Enright
Hollie O'Donoghue, West End singer and actress, is currently playing the lead role, Eponine, in Les Miserables in the Queen's Theatre in London having been spotted by Cameron Mackintosh himself! Hollie has many West End shows to her credit and she will also be remembered for her performance in The Commitments.

Ian trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, London and UK theatre roles include Laurie in Little Women (Bloomsbury Theatre, London) and The Beast in Beauty and the Beast (Civic Theatre, Rotherham). He reached the semi-finals of the BBC Radio 2 Voice of Musical Theatre in 2002, and subsequently travelled throughout America and Europe as a lead singer with Riverdance. In 2007 he co-founded Bare Space Theatre Company in his home town of Limerick, and won a best actor award at the Midwest Arts Awards for his portrayal of Anthony in their production of Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd. Ian currently presents Classical Kids, a classical music programme for younger listeners, on RTÉ lyric fm and RTÉjr Radio.
Ian McGlynn
Jean Mcglynn trained in London at the Mountview Academy, winning the prestigious Singing Scholarship on 3 occasions. Throughout her singing career, Jean has worked with Sir Andrew
Lloyd Webber, Sir Ben Elton, Ian McShcane, Jon Lee, Sir Cameron Mackintosh and appeared onstage alongside Dame Judi Dench.
Jean McGlynn
Jean is an accomplished harpist and singer. Roles performed include Yum Yum in 'The Mikado' with Lyric Opera at Buxtion Opera House; the title role in 'Savitri' with Mid-West Opera; Maria in 'West Side Story' at the Lime Tree Theatre, Limerick; Peaches/Baby Jane in 'Jerry Springer the Opera' at the Grand Canal Theatre, Dublin; Mabel in 'The Pirates of Penzance', University Concert Hall, Limerick; Polly Peachum in 'The Threepenny Opera' with Barespace Theatre Company. She has worked in the chorus of Opera Ireland productions of ‘Romeo et Juliette’, ‘Tosca’ and ‘I Capuletti e i Montecchi’ and featured as a soloist at Opera Ireland's Lunch time recitals in the Gaiety Theatre
Jean Wallace
Jessica Bray studied Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting UK. Whilst in training Jessica received the "Sir John Gielgud" award for Musical theatre and the "'Sir Michael Redgrave" scholarship.
Jessica is delighted to be back on the Limerick Theatre scene and performs and directs theatre locally. Roles include "Anita" in West side story, "Frenchie" in Destry Rides again, "Martha" in the Secret Garden and "Lily" in a Man of no Importance. Most recently Jessica played the role of "Deloris" in Shannon musical societies production of "Sister Act"

LeAnne Moore
Stage and TV actor & voice over artist. Has performed with Limerick's Island Theatre Company and Manchester Library Theatre. Played the role of Ethan Blanke on Emmerdale for 2 years. Played many and varied characters in several animated series produced by Magma Films and the BBC.
Liam O'Brien
Honing his skills for ten years under the guidance of Expressive Arts Theatre School, Niall found a love for the arts a went on to pursue it as a career. A graduate of Bull Alley Theatre Training Company, Niall received a FETAC Level 7 classical acting higher certificate as well as ATCL and LTCL performance diplomas, awarded by Trinity College, London.
Niall has previously been a principal cast member for three Irish/European Musical premieres. NMT’s production of ‘When Midnight Strikes’ and ‘Lift’ as well as Belltable Arts Initiative’s premier of ‘Crusade’ the musical by Australian composer Craig Christie. Niall competed in the final stages of the voice of ireland 2015 under the mentorship of The Saturday’s singer Una Foden.
Niall has performed at the internationally acclaimed composer Scott Alan’s concerts in St.James Theatre, London, alongside X-Factor winner Sam Bailey and a host of West End Stars.
Niall has many Musical Theatre leading roles to his credit. Niall also performs regularly with his band under the moniker of Nile St. James.
Niall O'Halloran
Norma is a teacher, actor, director, set designer and Dramatherapist (M.A., NUI Maynooth). Norma began her theatre career with Expressive Arts (1989-1996). In her first year at the performing arts school, she won the title role of Annie with the Cecilian Musical Society. In December 2014, she designed and directed The Theatre Shop in the site specific location of The Park Kiosk, as part of Limerick City of Culture's visual art strand. Norma is also known for producing and directing The Boneyard Man as part of the Limerick Arts Encounter (2013) and more recently (2014/15) in association with Lime Tree Theatre & Theatre at the Savoy.
Norma was Nominated for Best Actress for Not I - MAMCA and Oleanna- Belltable Unfringed. She is a founding member of award winning comedy Improvisation troupe Choke Comedy
(Belltable Unfringed –Special Judges Award) and a director of Pretend With Us' educational programme (www.pretendwithus.com). Norma is currently a board member of The Gaff- Theatre and Performance Hub and The College Players.
Norma Lowney
Formerly a broadcaster with Radio Nova, Dublin, Paul is now a radio programmer and media analyst with RTE Radio.
